  1. While the list in and of itself is great.. there is no point putting pressure on youngsters by putting all of this as something to be done before 25. Instead it could be something that can be done over a larger period of time. I’m not quibbling over details but things like memorise Quran isn’t something that one can do without discipline. We all know the famous anecdote of Umar RA slaughtering a goat after he memorised surah Baqarah.

    Youth today are a highly distracted bunch and putting together a list of things that need a lot of discipline to achieve that to before the age of 25 would further justify the false notion that Islam is hard and create unrealistic expectations even among the practicing

  2. MashaAllah that is one awesome list. I have most of these on my own list (except “become a shepherd”, that one’s too quirky haha). Though, 25 might be a little too short time for memorizing the Quran and going to Hajj for most people. 🙂
